It's that time of year again. Time to start getting organised to make your Christmas cards. Last year there was a huge backorder on the different green and red cardstocks and Christmas stamp sets, especially those in the mini catalogue. This meant that many people didnt get their supplies until much closer to Christmas, leaving them little time to make their cards. Make sure you dont get caught out this year!! The Spring mini catalogue has a few stamp sets, ribbon and designer papers just perfect for Christmas. So just click on the caption below the catalogue and take a look. Remember: the earlier you order your supplies, the more time you will have to make your cards!!

This great card is just one of the cards I have to make for Fathers Day. This one is for my hubby Matt and I will make 2 more smaller versions for the kids grandads. It is called a trishutter card and the tutorial is on the splitcoast stampers webpage in the resource section or ask me to demonstrate it at a workshop for you!
The stamp sets used are Sense of Time and Oval All from the Spring mini catalogue available now. If you would like a copy of the new mini, just drop me a line and I will pop one in the post for you. I will have a link on here within the next few days, I'm just waiting for Matt to give me a hand!
Stamps: Sense of time and Oval all (spring mini catalogue)

A few weeks ago my friend Debbie expressed an interest in a Birthday card organiser and how to make one. Well after a thinking about it, finding a template on Splitcoast Stampers and help from my upline Cathy Clark, I have managed to create one for Debbie's birthday next week. I used a scrapbooking kit from Fiskars and Heidi Grace that I got at the Craft show. Green and orange is a combination I dont normally put together, but being a kit this combo works. The pages are 12"x12" cardstock folded and covered with DSP and then embellished with flocked add-ons from the kit.

I am always on the lookout for new ideas and inspiration to help me when making cards. Blogs are a great way of seeing what others are doing and creating. The newest blog I have just added is special as it belongs to my Divine secret sibling for this round on splitcoast stampers. Susan creates the most beautiful cards with the best watercolouring and sewing on her cards. She also has inspired me to decorate the inside of my cards. This is something Susan does and it adds something special to each card. So while you are checking out what I am up to, make sure you take a look at the blog list and see what some other people are doing!!
