It's a Blog Hop!!!

The Summer Mini Catalogue is nearly here!! The official start date is the 1st of December and it is full of gorgeous stamp sets and DSP as well as some super cool new accessories to make your creating even easier!! To celebrate its arrival a few of the demonstrators (including myself) from my demonstrator group are doing a blog hop, displaying items using products from the new catalogue.

For those who dont know, a blog hop is a group of posts by different people all on the same theme. At the end of each person's post is a link to another preson's blog and so on in a big circle. There are about 20 demos involved in the hop creating cards, scrapbook layouts and 3D items all using the different products from the summer mini.

So make sure you check here on the 1st of December and follow the links!!  I will hopefully also have a link to the new catalogue.

PS The Spring Mini finishes Monday 30th November, so this is your last chance to order.

November Cyberstamp

This weekend just gone was another great weekend of challenges and chat with my yahoo demonstrator group, organised once more by the lovely Tanya Kitto. This time around I got to set one of the challenges for the first time - a scrapbook layout which required people to use a certain number of different products and techniques. The idea being that the page would give a good indication of the way SU! products could be incorporated into scrapbooking. I have set up a slideshow of all the work I did on the weekend.

Pink Ribbon Fundraiser

Hi Everyone

A big Thank you to all who participated in our Pink Ribbon Fundraiser. Although we only had a few ladies here on the night, we had a great time chatting (and eating) and decorating a paper sack. Lots of people who couldnt make it on the night were kind enough to give a donation or buy raffle tickets and other products.

Altogether we raised nearly $500 for the Cancer Council!! THis is a huge effort from a small group.

The winners of the raffle were: 1st prize: Fiona Holmes
2nd prize: Patricia Pfieffer
3rd prize: Melissa Chandler
Congratulations to all three ladies. Thank you to Stampin' Up! for donating all the prizes.

So from Debbie Robinson and myself, thank you to all of you who helped to make this such a great fundraiser and we hope to be able to repeat the event next year!!

Thanksgiving Card

Now I know we dont celebrate Thanksgiving here, but my secret sister in The USA does. So, as with the halloween card, I thought I would give myself a bit of a challenge. I found the instructions for the pumpkin on Splitcoast and then teamed it with Window dressing (level 3 hostess set).

Stamp Set: Window dressing, weathered BG

Cardstock: close to cocoa, whisper white, ruby red and pumpkin pie

Ink: close to cocoa, pumpkin pie, bravo burgundy and garden green markers

Accessories: wide oval punch, ribbon originals - pigtails, brass eyelets.
