Just Add Ink Challenge 3

Another Just Add Ink challenge, this time a layout. I am enjoying doing these challenges, they give a great starting point for getting things done.  And now I have some spare cards to send to my new secret sister from Splitcoaststampers! This one is for my daughter's 10th birthday, the colours are more suited for kids rather than adults. I have used a new 'build a brad' in the centre of the flower. These brads come in separate pieces so that you can place a piece of card/dsp inside to customise your brad to suit your project. For this project I stamped a petal from the set in ruby red and then punched a 1/2 inch circle from it.

Project Recipe
Stamp Set: Pick a Petal
Ink: Apricot appeal and Ruby red
Cardstock: Gable green, bashful blue and very vanilla
Accessories: build a brad and bashful blue grosgrain ribbon.

  1. What a great idea for Pick a Petal. I love the Build a Brad too. Chantell

  2. Love the brad in the middle of the petals. Must try that one. Thanks for joining in!!

  3. Love that brad in the middle of the flower! What a cute idea. I really like your vibrant colour choices too. Thanks for playing!

  4. What a bright, happy card. Nice to have you back again this week at Just Add Ink!

  5. Love the distressing and the pick a petal flowers. Lovely card!
