DSP and a Sketch challenge

The sketch for this card came from Stamping 411 Saturday sketch challenge, but everything else came from 2 other challenges I have running in my head but haven't got around to doing yet. One is to use dsp as a main feature (but different sketch) and the other is a beach theme.  I will get to them tomorrow and the day after, promise!

I have sacrificed two full sheets of dsp to make this one card, something I never thought I would do, but at least I still have the scraps to work with in future.

:Project Recipe
Stamp: A word for  you
Card: Cajun craze, not quite navy and more mustard
Ink: Not quite navy
Accessories: Nautical expedition dsp, Lots of tags sizzlits, brass brad

  1. I totally understand why you did! What a fabulous effect! Beautiful take on this weeks sketch!

  2. This is definitely a WOW card!!!! Love it!

  3. Carole -- LOL -- I hear what your saying about sacrificing two sheets of DSP -- but well worth it, I think! Great card and great use of this week's sketch. Thanks so much for playing along at Stamping 411! Blessings, Gretchen
