I was so pleased to be asked to be a guest designer again for Suuny Challenges! I love this sketch and the technique of using baby wipes and reinkers which can be found here. Make sure you head over and have a go at the challenge yourself and leave lots of comments for all the creations.

I have been a bit busy lately finishing my workbook for TAFE that I haven't had a great deal of time in the craft room. What little time I have had has been spent on projects which I can't show you just yet. Yesterday I did manage two cards for challenges. This is for Sunny Challenges which included a sketch and in colours. The paper was a hostess set from last year's catalogue so is now retired, but fit perfectly.
Stamps: Posy Punch (hostess)
Card: Pear Pizzaz, blushing bride and whisper white
Ink: blushing bride
Accessories: Fancy flower punch, glimmer brad, wide oval punch (leaf), pink taffeta ribbon and white gel pen
I love this week's sketch from Stamping 411 challenge. I have tried to do a bit of vintage on a male card, although I think just changing the colours could make it more feminine. My hubby thought it was pretty cool so I guess I succeeded! I have used the mahogany ink from the distressing kit to change the colour of the stamped collage layer from whisper white to brown.
Stamps: Artistic etchings and Oval all
Card: Early espresso, river rock, soft suede, cajun craze and whisper white
Ink: Early espresso, soft suede, cajun craze and mahogany (distressing kit)
Accessories: Well worn dsp, neutral button, large oval and wide oval punches, distressing kit

When I first saw this sketch and the colours for this week's Sunny challenge my first thought was no! The colours wouldn't work and the sketch was too square, but the design team had done great things with it so maybe I could too. So I thought about it for a couple of days before getting down to work. With this stamp set I usually 2 step the flowers and then cut them out, but I really wanted to watercolour on this card so that the colours weren't too bright. So I stamped straight on to the card using only the outline stamp with soft suede ink that had been stamped off once.
Stamps: Field Flowers and Short & Sweet
Card: Very vanilla, melon mambo, tempting turquoise and soft suede
Ink: Soft suede, melon mambo and tempting turquoise markers
Accessories: Large oval punch, scallop oval punch and `chantilly ribbon
