UnConvention #4

This time we had to create a card of a different shape. I used Labels collection of framelit dies from the mini catalogue to create the shape. Stamp set is Apothecary Art also from the mini. I also got the kids to help me with colour selection as my brain was getting a bit tired as this was toward the end of the four days. Isobel chose the pumpkin pie which I matched it with choc chip.

UnConvention #3

The challenge here was to make a box to put chocolates in. I used the fancy favour die and ran my cardstock and dsp through the bigshot to get the decorative edge on both pieces. Stamp sets are Snow swirled and perfect punches.

UnConvention #2

Still from UnConvention. The challenge here was to use a product (or stamp set) that we bought and never used. For me that was the bevel window panes. I never think to use them and find them a bit bulky and difficult to hold in place. They do give a great effect when you go to the effort to use them!

UnConvention #1

As promised this is the first in a series of posts to show what we did at UnConvention.

This is for a colour challenge I set to use any dynamic duo from the colour coach. I have used elegant eggplant and wisteria wonder. The stamp set is Field flowers.

Joy Fold Card

I know it has been ages since I have posted and I am sorry, but apart from UnConvention a couple of weeks ago I really haven't had a chance to do any creating. It may also be awhile before I get another chance as we are moving house in the next couple of weeks and everything has to be packed away. I will schedule some posts of Unconvention cards so that there is something new here.

Anyway this card is for Sunny challenges and I am really cutting it fine to get it in on time! This is one of my favourite folds, called the joy fold card. The instructions can be found on Splitcoast here.

Project Recipe
Stamps: Apothecary Art, Creative Elements
Card: Pink pirouette, marina mist and very vanilla
Ink: Soft suede, pretty in pink
Accessories: Beau chateau dsp, pretty in pink taffeta ribbon, self adhesive pearls, blender pen, framelits, 1" and 1 1/4" circle pinches. I also used the big shot and my simply scored.
