New Christmas Stamps!!

After the SU! retirement list came out I was left with one Christmas stamp set, so I was in dire need of some new stamps! Thankfully the Holiday Catalogue is full of Christmas stamps, dsp, embossing folders, dies, ribbons and so much more. I received my preorder about 10.30 this morning and started playing straight away. Apart from the sentiment stamp everything is from the Holiday catalogue.

And the ladies at Sunny Challnges have made this week's sketch a Christmas theme. I love the fun feel to this card, the bright colours, the cute stamps and pretty paper. But my favourite bit is the yummy cherry cobbler tulle ribbon.

Project Recipe
Stamps: Scentsational Season and Snow Swirled
Card: Gumball green, cherry cobbler, soft suede and whisper white
Ink: Gumball green, cherry cobbler and soft suede
Assessories: Snow Festival DSP, holiday collection framelits, cherry cobbler scallop tulle ribbon, wide oval punch

Bye, Bye Medallion

And there goes another of my favourite stamps. The medallion is perfect for male cards which is the theme at  Sunny challenges this week. A simple sketch for Father's Day cards. I love the clean and simple lines of this card, but lining up those images was anything but simple! I won't tell you how many times I stamped to get it right, even with my stamp-a-ma-jig, lol.

Project Recipe
Stamp: Medallion background, Field Flowers (sentiment)
Card: Choc chip, crumb cake and confetti white
Ink: Choc chip
Accessories: Curly label punch and neutral button

Farewell Dasher!

Am I sad to see this lovely Christmas stamp go, so thought he needed one more outing before retirement at the end of the month. The sketch is from Stamping 411 Saturday sketch challenge. Please excuse the poor quality of the photo, it is a dark and rainy day here. Perfect for stamping inside, but not good for photography inside.

Project Recipe
Stamp: Dasher
Card: Old olive, riding hood red, early espresso and whisper white
Ink: Early espresso and versamark
Accessories: Vintage wallpaper embossing folder, clear embossing powder, scallop border punch, Letters to Santa dsp and framelits.

Squares Everywhere!

So yesterday was masculine and today is most definitely feminine! The sketch is from Stamping 411. I have stamped the background with pink pirouette ink that had been stamped off once. It is difficult to see, but gives a lovely soft look to what otherwise would be very plain.

Project Recipe
Stamp: Elements of Style
Card: Very vanilla, pink pirouette, marina mist
Ink: Marina mist and pink pirouette
Accessories: Beau Chateau dsp, soft suede taffeta ribbon and self adhesive pearls
