Feminine card

It certainly wasn't my intention to use three different stamp sets when I started this card, but as it evolved my original idea just didn't seem to fit anymore. The sketch is from Sunny challenges with the added instruction of making a feminine card.

I started with the Creative Elements set for the background, with the idea of using the flower and butterfly for the main image. But the stamps weren't quite right. So then I was going to use the silhouette and butterfly from Papaya Collage. The silhouette worked but not the butterfly, so... onto stamp set number three Papillon Potpourri for the butterfly!

  1. Perfect Carole. I do that all the time & sometimes don't know where my card will end up, but all 3 stamps have worked. Thanks so much for joing us this week at Sunny Challenges & Creations

  2. This is really gorgeous Carole. I often have my cards in bits and pieces, sometimes for days, until all the elements come together. Thanks for playing along at Sunny Challenges and Creations this week. We really appreciate your support.

  3. I love the colours you've used on this card, Carole - it's beautiful. I often use several stamp sets on one card (probably more because I'm so indecisive!). The sets you've used go well together!
