I hope you have your sunglasses on! This one is Bright!! As it should be for a little girl turning one. Toddlers love colour - the brighter the better so I make no apologies for this card, lol.
I have used the sketch and challenge to use dsp from Sunny challenges. I found a number of birthday word stamps in my collection and used these for the background behind the number.
Stamps: Short and sweet, sincere salutations, upsy daisy, a word for you, curly cute
Card: Lucky limeade, pink pirouette, melon mambo and whisper white
Ink: Melon mambo, pretty in pink and lucky limeade
Accessories: Cheerful treat dsp (hostess), pink taffeta ribbon and white gel pen
The sketch for this card came from Stamping 411 Saturday sketch challenge, but everything else came from 2 other challenges I have running in my head but haven't got around to doing yet. One is to use dsp as a main feature (but different sketch) and the other is a beach theme. I will get to them tomorrow and the day after, promise!
I have sacrificed two full sheets of dsp to make this one card, something I never thought I would do, but at least I still have the scraps to work with in future.
Stamp: A word for you
Card: Cajun craze, not quite navy and more mustard
Ink: Not quite navy
Accessories: Nautical expedition dsp, Lots of tags sizzlits, brass brad
Another lovely sketch from Sunny challenges and their guest designer Libby Dyson. The flower was made using a big shot die and fabric which I stuck together using the sheets of adhesive before running through the big shot. The pretty organza ribbon is part of the SAB set available until the end of the month. The eggplant layer has been embossed with iridescent ice powder and is stunning against the dark background.
Stamp: French foliage and french filigree background, Perfect punches
Card: Wisteria wonder, elegant eggplant and lucky limeade
Ink: Versamark, lucky limeade and elegant eggplant
Accessories: Blossom party die, limeade organza ribbon, iridescent ice embossing powder, self adhesive rhinestones. flirtatious designer fabric
This week's entry for the stamping 411 sketch challenge. I wanted to try something new for this card, so I headed over to the resource section of Splitcoast and found this technique called ghosting. Unfortunately it didn't photograph very well, but the 2 small panels are glossy white cardstock which have been stamped with a doiley image in versamark and then sponged over with blushing bride. The colour combination also came from the Stamping 411.
Stamps: Delicate doilies, Oval all and Nature Walk
Card: Basic black, melon mambo, blushing bride, wild wasabi and glossy white
Ink: Blushing bride, versamark and black stazon
Accessories: Vintage wallpaper embossing folder, black grosgrain ribbon, large oval punch, scallop oval punch and eyelet border punch
