Feathers
The ladies at Sunny challenges want a male card this week. I always struggle with these, it seems most people do. I find it difficult to strike that balance between interesting without being over embellished and blingy. I have used a technique called emboss resist to create my background. I think the flash from the camera has bounced off the clear embossing as the card looks a lot darker in real life. I am going to keep this one for my husband Matt for Father's day as the sentiment is one I feel each and every day.
Project Recipe
Satmps: Fine feathers and Chalk talk
Card: pacific point, wild wasabi and whisper white
Ink: pacific point, marina mist, wild wasabi and versamark
Accessories: clear embossing powder, marina mist grosgrain ribbon, white bakers twine and large oval punch, white feathers
