Bloom with Hope

Sketch challenges are my favourite of all the different types of challenges. There is so much freedom to choose your stamps and colours, while having half the design work done for you! And the team at Just Add Ink have come up with a great sketch this week. I have an A5 art book that I draw the sketches in so I can use them again in the future.

Project Recipe
Stamps: Bloom with hope, Work of art (sentiment), I love lace (BG)
Card: Hello honey, blackberry bliss and natural white
Ink: hello honey, blackberry bliss and mossy meadow
Accessories: labels framelits, scallop tag topper punch and daffodil delight seam binding ribbon

Workshop card

I made this card using a leftover card kit from Friday night's workshop. It is very similar to the one we made on the night, but a little simpler. I love the richness of this year's in colours.

Project Recipe
Stamps: Butterfly basics
Ink: mossy meadow and blackberry bliss
Card: smoky slate, blackberry bliss and natural white
Accessories: Blackberry bliss ribbon

JAI Sketch challenge

It has been ages since I have done any challenges, but this is the first weekend off in a long time that I haven't found myself with a hundred things to do. I love this sketch from Just Add Ink and thought the big butterfly would be perfect. I have coloured with blendabilities. These are so easy to use, it didn't taken me long to work out how to colour and blend to great effect.

Project Recipe
Stamps: Swallowtail and butterfly basics (sentiment)
Card: pumpkin pie, daffodil delight and whisper white
Ink: Black memento and gold encore for a bit of sponging on the edges
Accessories: pumpkin pie and daffodil delight blendabilities, honeycomb embossing folder
