This week's challenge at Global Design Project is to CASE one of the designers cards from a previous challenge. The card chosen is by Louise Sharp.

The idea is to draw ideas from the card and then make it your own. I decided to go with the neutral colours and the Christmas theme, but I really wanted to use my new Christmas stamp set from the holiday catalogue.

Project Recipe
Stamp set: Peaceful pines
Card: soft suede, very vanilla, crumbcake and gold glimmer paper
Ink: soft suede and versamark
Accessories: iridescent ice embossing powder, ovals frameleits and perfect pines framelits

  1. Great card Carole. Love how you've changed up Louise's card by creating some negative space with that gorgeous glimmer paper! Putting the tree in the centre really draws the eye. Thanks so much for joining in the GDP fun again this week!
P.S. I spy a GDP blog badge - thanks a bunch for your support! x

  2. Carole - this is beautiful. I can definitely see how you were inspired by Louise's card. The neutrals are wonderful on your Christmas card! Thank you so much for playing along with this week's Global Design Project "case the designer" challenge!

  3. Hi Carole! I love the use of the glimmer paper on this card, as well as the iridescent ice embossing powder. I seem to like shiny things...(lol) Thank you so much for playing along to the Global Design Project this week. Louise xo
